Bugs, bugs and more bugs.
There are two givens in the world of internet gaming: 1) you will be killed over and over again, 2) you will find more than your share of bugs. Everything else is variable, but these two items you can count on.
So what's one to do about this?
Well, as for item 1 above -- just get used to it. Death is nothing more than a quick respawn back to your home base. How quick you can get back into the flow of the game determines more than how often you get bumped out of it.
As for item 2, please feel free to join in a world conspiracy to help eliminate multi-player bugs.
- How can you take part?:
- become part of an informed and educated body of game players.
- help those around you by lending a hand to newbies.
- encourage game developers to compare notes and share technology.
Science would be no where today if it started in today's atmosphere of copyrights, trade secrets, and corporate control of information.
We are willing to compare notes with any game developer interested in pursuing the creation of a body of knowledge dedicated to internet multi-player gaming.
Until this imaginary utopian gaming environment is created we will continue to live in a world dominated by bugs. So, here you will find pointers to help files, bug work-arounds, and forms for letting us know about bugs.
